Another of the Southbank’s sumptuous attractions, the Eye (originally known as the ‘Millennium Wheel’) is still the largest Ferris wheel anywhere in the world, boasting a height of 135 metres. And what better way to kick-off your London honeymoon (especially if you’re staying somewhere central like the Montcalm hotel Chiswell Street; from which it’s very easy to reach) than by going on a 30-minute-long revolution on the Eye, tucked snugly safely inside a high-tech glass capsule with your loved so you might enjoy the breath-taking view of the city below. It’s especially supreme and special at when done at night. Moreover, should you book the Cupid Capsule, you can enjoy a glass of champagne and champagne-flavoured chocolate truffles throughout your ride.
Go on a ‘chocalicious’ tour
Is there anything more sinful, tempting and thoroughly delicious than those oh-so mouth-watering chocolates? Probably not.
