Oxford and Cambridge boat race
Another exciting annual event taking place in the heart of the city is the Cambridge – Oxford boat race. This event takes place over a 4.2 mile stretch of the River Thames and is widely televised. Wetlands Centre

West London’s Kew Garden’s is a botanical garden with a long spanning history. Based near Chiswick, the gardens are located on the grounds of the Kew Palace.
